Saskatchcushion is the winner!
Catherine Higginbotham’s company began by making customizable Saskatchewan shaped cushion covers and inserts. Each cushion has a map of the province on the front, with an attached town sign onto the map to highlight any place(s) in the province as per customer order. The back of the cushion features a list of all the communities in the province.
She currently sells on line and has begun to sell to retailers. She has added Alberta and Manitoba in her catalogue and is hoping to eventually include all the provinces. As an end goal she would like to invest in a digital printer for textiles so she can make everything in house here in Saskatchewan. Currently the fabric is printed in the States.
