Can I attend just one time or am I required to attend all quarterly meetings?
Your commitment as a member is to ensure payment of your $100 for 4 events. If you cannot attend one of the events, then you can give your vote to another member attending to vote on your behalf and provide payment or send someone to represent you at the meeting. We hope that after the 12 month period, you choose to continue your membership for another 4 events as you are experiencing the impact you are making for local entrepreneurs! If after the 12 month period you choose to end your membership – just let us know.
Do I have to be a woman to be a member?
No! We welcome anyone wanting to support our local entrepreneurs.
Do I get a receipt for my donation?
No. There is no receipt given.
How do you choose the companies that will pitch?
As long as the companies meet the 3 requirements – woman-led, Saskatchewan-based, and, in business for at least 12 months – then they qualify and 3 names are selected through a random draw process.
What happens if I miss a meeting and don’t send my $100?
We understand that you may not be able to attend every Pitch nite, but when you sign up for your membership, you agree to making the four $100 payments. We will give you a pass once but if you miss two payments then you will no longer be a member in good standing and we will remove you from the membership.
As a member, am I also eligible to apply to pitch?
Absolutely you are eligible to apply, as long as you meet the criteria – woman-led Saskatchewan based business operating for a minimum of one year. You would also give up your vote should you be selected to pitch.

Why does the business have to be in operations for one year?
We have decided that this is the company stage we want to support and it is the stage where a financial boost can often be the catalyst that moves a company to a next level – next product or market.
Why does one team leader or owner have to be female?
The decision was based on the group’s desire to focus on supporting female-led companies.
Is this just for Saskatoon businesses?
No. Any Saskatchewan-based company may apply.
Can we do a tag team presentation if we are chosen to pitch?
You have 4 minutes to tell your story – no powerpoint – and so we ask that only one person present. It is ok to bring another member of your team with you, along with company products or other displays.
